Some people spend their entire lives as the connector in every group but the member of none. They build the bridges everyone else walks across and then stand in the middle wondering which side is home.

I love teaching preschoolers and children. I have been working with kids for 30 years. I've been a teacher, preschool center director, volunteer, writer and editor, and workshop leader. Now I'm exploring what's next in my life as an educator.

Why Brick by Brick?

I'm a bricklayer. Not with stones and mortar but with ideas and concepts. I don't build on a slab or the ground but in the lives of young children.

The early years are key to a life of learning. We can help them grow and learn...brick by brick...creating a solid foundation for life.
