A group of boys at the easel.
Drawing and erasing in all the ways that boys do.
Using one, two, three, and more markers at the same time.
Making the board as dirty as possible. And then erasing it and doing it all over again.
And then art suddenly appears.
Now, I love all the scribbles and designs that the kids created. It's all art, as far as I'm concerned.
But using the eraser to create a face within those scribbles.
That takes thinking in a different way.
I love seeing thinking develop and change. Kids seeing possibilities and trying out ideas.
Art is all about expressing ideas. I love it when this happens.
