Must Reads This Week

Note: I apologize for the empty post yesterday. I was out of town and experienced some technical difficulties. Let's try it again.

I've been so busy lately that I haven't been connecting online much lately. But these posts reminded me why I like to read through the blogosphere and what I'm missing when I don't.

Not Just Cute: Lessons for Our Boys - Amanda writes: "As a mother of three boys (with a fourth coming soon) I spend a lot of time thinking about boys in society and society’s messages to boys. There are a lot of mixed messages out there. It’s caused me to spend some time thinking about what I want to make sure my boys — and all boys — are taught."

Teacher Tom: It's How We Got Here That Matters - Wise words about the process that teaches and the end result that is merely a by-product. Thanks, Teacher Tom!

Teach Preschool: Plexi-painting in Preschool - Deborah finds another use for her window books. I need to head to the home improvement store for some plexiglass.

Inner Child Fun: Connect with Your Kids Through Art - Some great ideas for doing art and exploring art and having fun together with art.

Aha! Parenting: Structure: Why Kids Need Routines - Dr. Markham writes: "Children’s fear of the unknown includes everything from a suspicious new vegetable to a major change in their life.Unfortunately, children are confronted with change daily."

These are just some of the great things I read this week. What inspiration from the blogosphere have you read recently?
