One thing we've been using are cards from an Uno card game.
We've been working on greater and less...greatest, between, and least.
Kids chose cards and stood in order from least to greatest.
We've pulled cards and put them in order. I put some cards in a center with a sheet to record numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least.
Other ideas:
- Choose a card and count that many items.
- Sort cards by color or number.
- Choose one card and count out items; choose another card and count out items; find the total and write an addition sentence.
- Match a card to number of items or a picture of the number of items.
What ideas do you have for repurposed Uno cards?
