Drawing Together

This week I'm at the LifeWay Kids Ministry Conference. I'm leading a conference on art ideas (Art A to Z). So this week I thought I'd highlight some of my favorite past art posts.

Yesterday I listed some cooperative painting activities we've done. We've also done some cooperative drawing activities.

Using tape I marked off sections on a piece of paper. Then the kids drew in the squares to create a quilt.

We've also drawn pictures on separate pieces of paper and tied them together with yarn to create a quilt. But I enjoyed this one. We worked on it for a couple of weeks until it was complete.

And the kids enjoyed seeing it displayed in the classroom for several weeks.

What cooperative drawing activities have you done?

  1. I love the idea of taping off the paper. I've always done the separate paper thing, but this seems (easier) more fun!

    Have a great conference!!
