Favorite Things: Stickers

We love stickers. We like to use them for all kinds of things. But, I've discovered, stickers can be expensive. Especially if you get elaborate ones at the craft store.

So I don't buy the fancy stickers. I go to the dollar store and buy circles, squares, and hole reinforcements.

I go to Walmart or other discount stores and buy stickers from the office supply area - circles, stars, rectangles - in all kinds of colors.

I sometimes go to the school supply store. But I buy the stickers that are simple shapes or letters - stickers that are smaller but come in packs with lots.

And the kids enjoy these stickers as much as any other ones I ever provide them.

I also notice that they make their own designs and creations. Simpler stickers encourage them to be creative.

And simpler stickers cost less - so I don't worry if they use lots and lots and lots.
